'Puzzles as Art' at SVMA

"Intersections: Puzzles as Art," will explore the multi faceted relationship and feature antique puzzles from China, dexterity puzzles from France, and work from contemporary artists who blur the boundaries between sculpture and puzzle. Featured artists will include Miguel Ortiz Berrocal of Spain, Akio Kamei of Japan, George W. Hart of New York, Oskar van Deventer of the Netherlands, and Lee Krasnow and Bathsheba of California. Appearing June 19 through Aug. 16. Member preview on opening night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Regular hours are Wednesdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Museum admission is $5 for individuals, $8 for families, free to the public on Sundays. 551 Broadway.
